Data sources
A company intelligence platform is only as trustworthy as its sourcing. This page sets out where our information comes from, what we will not do to obtain it, and how to tell the difference between a recorded fact and our interpretation of it.
Three kinds of content, always distinguished
Records published by official registers, regulators, procurement portals and companies themselves. These are reproduced as recorded, with the register or filing named, the retrieval date stored, and a link back to the source wherever one exists.
Data obtained through a commercial agreement — for example North Data or OpenCorporates — using a licence you supply. It is available only while that licence is configured, and is labelled with the provider that supplied it.
Our own interpretation: summaries, scores, expansion readings and answers from the AI analyst. This is never presented as registry information. It carries a confidence value, states what the data could not tell it, and points back at the records it used.
What we will not do
- We do not circumvent paywalls, or scrape authenticated paid services without authorization.
- We do not use a commercial provider's data without a licence. Connectors for licensed sources stay inert until you supply your own credentials.
- We do not ignore robots.txt. Website monitoring reads publicly accessible pages of a company's own site and honours its disallow rules.
- We do not present model output as registry fact, and we do not fill a gap in the data with an estimate that looks like a reported figure.
Provenance on every record
Each significant record stores the provider that supplied it, the source URL, the type of source, when it was retrieved, when it was published, and a confidence value. The interface exposes all of it, so any figure on screen can answer the question “says who?”

Connectors
Coverage is assembled per country. A connector activates only when its credential is present; where none is configured, the platform serves its synthetic demonstration dataset and labels it clearly as such.

Scores are not ratings
Platform Intelligence Scores are analytical indicators computed from recorded data. Each is shown with a confidence value and a full breakdown of the factors that produced it, including which factors had no data behind them. They are not credit ratings, not investment advice and not a legal assessment, and they should not be used as the sole basis for a commercial decision.
Corrections
If a record is wrong, the underlying source is usually wrong too — so corrections are most durable when made at the register. Where our normalization or matching is at fault, tell us which record and we will correct it and re-derive anything computed from it.
